We All Struggle – 1 John 1:8

Wednesday we introduced the need to minister to athletes, coaches and basically anyone who have become plastic – molded by their own or other’s expectations. There is a great need for authenticity.

The book of 1 John was a letter written by the apostle John, our Biblical Chaplain, because of his concern that the Christians in Asia Minor were losing their way on their spiritual journey. John knew that the spiritual life was difficult, filled with danger, so he wrote his letter to help Christians navigate the unexpected twists and turns in the road.

Our Biblical Chaplain, was talking to people that make up the church. Sadly, today many have given up on the church, not new or good news. The number one reason listed in many studies is the presence of hypocrites.  One friend of mine said, “I find more honesty in one Alcoholic’s Anonymous meeting than in an entire year going to church.
